The fitters are hard at work in Goffs and Jason, on social media, shared some evidence that those pockets are no “buckets”:
including this short video:
Tonight we have the launch dinner. Serious stuff starts tomorrow!
Apparently the event is played this week-end in Beijing and not at the end of the month as initially scheduled.
Here is the draw and the results as published By Jason Francis on twitter.
The event is covered in CBSA Website: the draw and format page as well as a page where some matches are streamed. If you open those pages with Chrome you can have them translated automatically. However images are not translated so, unless you can read Chinese, you will not be wiser than me about who is playing and winning in this one …
Jason also shared this table, showing the best breaks made today:
The event is covered by Rigour on the Superstar Online platform as previously mentioned
The draw for this event, held on 26-28 January 2018 in Beijing, featuring 80 players, will be made during the opening reception. Rigour will stream the matches, or at least some of them, on their Superstar Online Platform. I’m not sure at this stage whether the streams will be available outside China, on the CBSA website. Watch this space.
Don’t miss out. It will cost you only 10€ to watch the action live, in one of the most iconic venues Snooker ever had: Goffs.
Jason Francis will try to stream live, on Facebook, as often as possible. I will be there taking pictures, but nothing comes even close to the live atmosphere in that bear pit. And it’s a very rare opportunity to watch Steve Davis playing competitive snooker again, in fact it could be the last one!
Snooker Legends Creator and regular SMTV Guest Jason Francis speaks to SMTV Presenter Jerry Coughlan about the highly anticipated return of Snookers Legends to the famous Goffs Kildare on January 6th and January 7th.

This was sent today by Jason Francis in a Press Release:
We’ve got a £200 free sign up bonus on Irish masters, I think some of their odds offer real value.
10bet have partnered up with us to offer odds on the event. They’ve gone with Ken Doherty as favourite at just under 2/1 with Jimmy 2nd fav at 5/2. Sign up with them through us here http://bit.ly/2C8hP7P and get up to a £200 1st deposit bonus.
Those who know me, know that I’m not exactly a fan of the betting industry, however there is no doubt that betting companies getting an interest in the event is a sign that they take it seriously and that they are confident it’s organised and played in a professional way. That the Seniors Tour is regognised as a proper sporting plzatform is certainly positive.
