Milkins and Lines Added to 2026 World Seniors Snooker Championship Line-Up
Robert Milkins and Peter Lines are the latest additions to the line-up for the 2026 World Seniors Snooker Championship at the Crucible Theatre.
Milkins, known as ‘The Milkman’, is celebrating his 30th year as a World Snooker Tour (WST) professional and won his maiden ranking event title at the 2023 Welsh Open. He has a career-high ranking of 12th and made a maximum break in the qualifying rounds of the 2006 World Championship.
Former World Seniors champion Lines will head the Crucible Theatre in excellent form having topped the EPSB English Seniors Tour and currently sitting in second on the Q Tour Europe ranking list.
The two players join a star-studded line-up which includes Mark Williams, Ali Carter, Stuart Bingham, Reanne Evans, Anthony Hamilton, Matthew Stevens and many more.
The World Seniors Championship, which will be broadcast live on Channel 5 in the UK, also features a host of established World Seniors stars such as Jimmy White, Ken Doherty, Tony Drago, Dominic Dale and reigning Seniors British Open Champion Joe Perry. Alfie Burden, the recent WST Shootout Champion, also returns as the defending champion.
Jason Francis, Chairman of World Seniors Snooker, said: “Robert and Peter are two players with over 50 years of service to the sport between them. They are both well-known, both deserving and both winners. With some sessions already filling up and more names to be announced this event just gets better and better.”
This year the World Seniors Championship will start with two tables in operation and the line-up already looks stronger than ever, Hopefully fans outside the UK will also be able to follow it.
