The World Seniors Championship 2019 – sponsored by ROKiT Phones.com – was played at the Crucible theatre in Sheffield, the home of the main Tour World Championship since 1997, from 15 to 18 August 2019. Twenty players from all over the world competed for the trophy. It was Jimmy White who eventually triumphed, beating Darren Morgan by 5-3 in the final. It was an emotional achievement for the Whirlwind who was six times a runner-up as a main tour professional, but never a winner at the iconic venue.
